Payment

INSTANT ENERGY accepts wire transfers, company checks, money orders, cashier’s checks, and purchase orders. Wire transfers must clear before an order can be shipped. Company checks, cashier's checks, and money orders are subject to a 7 - 10 business day holding period after they are received. No personal checks are accepted. Purchase orders are subject to approval, which usually takes 3 - 5 business days.

Shipping

Shipping Times

INSTANT ENERGY processes orders on a first-come, first-served basis. After payment is processed and your order is packaged, you will receive an email with tracking information for your shipment. *Don’t see that email? Be sure to check your spam or junk folder!

For in-stock products, standard processing times are 1 - 3 business days. Estimated delivery times are based on carrier availability and national shipping lanes, these can vary anywhere between 3 - 15 business days.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations and order changes are permitted to open, unshipped orders. Cancellations must be initiated with our Customer Support team during INSTANT ENERGY normal business hours.. If your order has not been processed or packed, no fees will be applied to your cancellation. If items have been packaged but not yet shipped, a cancellation or order change may be permitted with a restocking fee of up to 15%. Once your order has been assigned a tracking number from our shipping department, we cannot make any changes to that order.

Damage&Claim

You or the receiving party must inspect the order upon delivery for any damages or shortages. Undiscovered or concealed damages not noted on the delivery receipt must be reported within 24 hours to the freight carrier and INSTANT ENERGY. When shipped INSTANT ENERGY carefully inspects and documents the packaging and overall condition of your order. All pallets are banded, strapped, and wrapped prior to leaving our warehouse to ensure safe delivery to you!

It is your responsibility to document and notify the delivering carrier and INSTANT ENERGY of any possible damages upon receipt. After acceptance of your shipment, you have legally released the freight carrier of any liability of damage. Any damages not notated within 24 hours of delivery and do not have a delivery receipt with documentation may be denied.

Best practice for Receiving Damaged Solar Panels:

  • Note any damages, rips, tears, or alters in packaging to your delivery driver
  • Receive an exception number from the delivery driver
  • Call the number on your delivery receipt to report it to the terminal (immediately upon discovery)
  • Call INSTANT ENERGY

If you receive damaged goods, it is always best to take possession of delivery vs. refusing and having it shipped back to us. This could cause MORE damage to items as well as taking a risk that the product may or may not be in stock to replace your refused shipment at time of delivery/refusal. Refused shipments may be subject to a restocking fee.

If you have damaged goods and have noted damages upon receipt, INSTANT ENERGY will provide you with a full store credit of the damaged product and the prorated shipping costs or a full refund of the original payment method the value of the damaged product.

Due to shipping concerns, INSTANT ENERGY will only replace damages of four or more solar panels, please order accordingly! We ask that you do not order the EXACT number of solar panels needed for your project.

Ordering

Order Processing

INSTANT ENERGY confirms and allocates inventory on paid orders. All orders are processed on a first come first served basis. Once payment is confirmed your order will be processed between 2 and 5 business days.

Sales Tax

INSTANT ENERGY is located in CA and adheres to CA Sales Tax. All orders are subject to applicable sales tax. The customer is responsible for all applicable sales tax payments. Shipping and handling is subject to sales tax.

 

CDTFA:A sale for resale is not subject to sales tax, as long as the seller obtains a valid resale certificate from the buyer at the time of sale.

Return Policy

Returns are accepted on a case-by-case basis. To start the returns process, you will need to contact INSTANT ENERGY at info@instantenergyinc.com

Please let the team know what your issue is in as much detail as possible. Provide images and video to help our team provide you a solution as quickly as possible. Once received we will begin working on building out the details of your request! If you have received the wrong item and need an exchange, please contact customer service at: info@instantenergyinc.com

New and Unused Product

  • Return must be within 90 days of the delivery date. If beyond this timeframe, you will only be eligible for a store credit only
  • All accessories supplied with the item must be returned
  • Subject to up to a 30% restocking fee
  • Signature Solar will cover the cost of shipping and supply you with documentation for the return. Please note that Signature Solar is not responsible for supplying packaging or palletizing materials if needed

Used and Installed Product

No return is acceptable for the Used and Installed product

Warranty

The equipment sold by INSTANT ENERGY is designed by the manufacturer to be installed ONLY by licensed, trained, and insured solar electrical installation professionals. We strongly advise the customer to seek the assistance of such a professional to exclusively perform the implementation of any of these products, and we make no warranty of the purchaser’s safety, the success of equipment implementation, or compliance with local codes and regulations. INSTANT ENERGY disclaims all warranties, expressed or implied, including but not limited to, any implied warranty with respect to the accuracy or completeness of the information they disseminate and /or fitness of the materials sold for a particular purpose. Some of the USED or grade B titled equipment sold may not include a manufacturer’s warranty. No warranty may be created or extended by sales or promotional materials on these items.

Warranty claims may be denied for the following reasons:

  • Damages incurred during installation or removal
  • Damages caused during mishandling of product, Inappropriate Environmental Exposure
  • Damages caused by improper maintenance
  • Tampering, Altering, and/or Disassembly of product
  • Using product in applications other than which it was intended for by manufacturer
  • Lightning, Fire, Flood, or Acts of God
  • Any product whose serial number has been altered, defaced, or removed
